Punctuated by poorly-framed shots from a low-quality digital camera. General info: I was born and raised in Las Vegas. In retrospect, I think Nevada is the place where the veil between the worlds is thinnest. Founded on October 31 (Halloween) in 1864 (during the Civil War), it's the dryest (re: deadest) state, and the only place in North America where rivers don't flow into the ocean. They just wander off into the desert, and die. I'm also a big fan of H.P.Lovecraft. My name's Aaron. I just recently graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a dual-degree in English and computer science. Now, I live in San Jose a block from the Winchester Mystery House, doing stuff with a computer for a consulting company with a very vague name. When I was a teenager I called myself a writer, but then I realized I haven't really been doing it too much lately. So now I try to write when I can, and let other people decide what they want to call me. These days it seems most of my creative effort has been going towards programming, ironic cross stitches, and random art projects around my apartment. I find that my LJ is most enjoyed by people who know me in real life, whether from my childhood in Las Vegas, my brief time in Cleveland, or my many years of suffering in Reno. I haven't really met anyone in San Jose yet, but I'm sure it would apply for people out here too. There is also a small contingent of people from South Florida. If you are from any of these general regions, you may find the LJ appealing. Or, you know, if you're cool.
